Dad is going haywire. He had bleeding on the brain and is now home from the hospital. He gets hallucinations and hits my mother; the worst is at night. He doesn't sleep and gets really crazy and restless. None of us have slept. Please pray that my father sleep through the nights. I appreciate whatever prayers you can give. Mine don't seem to be working, but I'm still praying.

" Mugsini, you do have my prayers. Also, my suggestion that you find some help, perhaps through the hospital's social services department? It seems as if he's beyond your control, poor thing, and there's nothing -- NOTHING -- wrong with admitting that.

My husband and I kept my mother with us as long as we could (she had Alzheimer's). Finally, it got to the point where she was wandering all night long, thinking she lived elsewhere, etc. We reluctantly had to move her into a nursing home.

If that would be the best place for your father, you owe it to him, your mother, and yourself to do what's best. "

" I'm so sorry - prayers are with you. He must have dementia. My dad has no short term memory and it is so hard. A real struggle.
You take care dear one. "

" Oh your prayers and all the others are working.!! Sometimes it does not seem like they are. We all have to remember it is not in our time but Gods time when he is going to answer prayers. Just remind yourself that all you are learning and experiencing are what God wants us to learn. Be silent and patient to listen to God
Prayers to you and your family.
Both my parents have short term memory, My mom with dementia and dad with lack of oxygen. Sometimes I have to remove myself for a few days. "

" I will pray for you, and your parents to get through this ordeal. Hang in there, and talk with health care providers because your mom's personal safety is at risk. It's probably best for your father to live elsewhere so he can recieve adequate treatment, supportive services, and supervision. I'm here for you. *Hugs*
