It's hard...there is a lag between his funeral and interrment. The National Cemetary for vets has a waiting period due to schedule being full It won't be until next week until I can bury him. I have to close our home and move in with my kids, I can't afford our condo now. Have to give our kitty away. My life with him is gone. He is gone. I miss him so, his slow smile and hugs, his daily I love yous. I wish I had died too.

Please don't wish that, you are in a very fragile state right now my friend. Do you have a trusted friend or clergyman that could help you thru this terrible time ? You really shouldn't be alone. I will continue praying for you.

Am sending my prayers your way. Know that you helped him make this transition and there was a reason you were there for him. And keep his memory in your heart . One day, you shall meet again.

My husband passed away on Jan 29, 2012. We were married for 56 years and he had Parkinsons for 16 years. I understand your life revolved around him and hoping that things might change for the better. I thought I handled everything pretty well but now I realize that I have been trying to convince everyone and myself that I can handle all of this alone.
I just want to go to bed and sleep. Turn off the world and don't bother me.I still feel him here and at night it is so much worse.

There are no words I can write that will fill the void you feel right now. I am sorry you have to deal with this. Sorry about the move you now have to face and not being able to keep your kitty. The move would be hard enough for me I wouldn't be able to give up kitty too. I will say a prayer for you. You have my deepest sympathies.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that in the sad, dark days you can look back on the happy times that you did have, and also take comfort in the memory that you did everything you could for him. I'm sure you made his days, the healthy and the sick, as good as you possibly could. He's at peace now and you have been a brave soul.
