My husband had a stroke on Nov 13, 2011. All his hair fell out on the 3rd day while he was still in the ICU unit.
It has been 5 months and his hair has not grown back. Has anyone else experienced hair loss after having a stroke??
I can't find anything on the web about total hair loss after having a stroke.
Our doctor can't explain it either.

Any advice??

" Hello Willow, I don't have first hand experience with this but I seem to remember that there are certain medications that can cause hair loss. I think they are blood pressure meds. If your husband is on BP meds I'd check the side effects info. Metoprolol Tart is the one I heard can cause hair loss.
