" It isn't so much how old is too old, but rather how is their ability to drive safely. How is their eyesight? Are their reflexes fast enough to respond to an emergency situation? Can they drive to their destination and back home without getting lost? Are they easily distracted? How is their overall health?

I have a neighbor that is 92, very active and drives just fine. My mother stopped driving at age 78 because of eyesight and slow reflexes.

Overall, it depends on the persons ability to drive safely without endangering themselves or other drivers and the public. "
