I am so tired of putting my Resume out there applying for jobs over the internet without a response. In nine months, I've had two responses. I do have an awesome interview on Tuesday. However, I have to drive 14 hrs. for it. Wish me luck. If you don't know someone to help you by referring you, you're pretty much out of luck it seems.

The interview went great for me, but the company isn't going to be able to hire someone after all, yet anyway. The property they were going to acquire will be next month, maybe. I received a call for another interview while I was in that one, and went on
Friday. I can't imagine how many miles I've traveled or dollars I've charged on my mother's credit cards, but I am driving back to her house tomorrow. I've never gone through anything like this in my life. The jobs are hard to come by. I never thought I would ever find it difficult to get a job in my industry. Thanks for asking. Are you working with a head hunter? Let me know how your job search goes.

Working with this free service for people 50+ that are out of work. So far not very helpful. Will give a a few more tries. Reaching out to former customers for letters of recommendations. Trying to get a "portfolio" together. Stay Strong!!! Deb
