" My husband has carcinoid too. It is certainly a challenge dealing with this. He's undergone two operations and they say no mor surgeries. Now he is on Sandostatin. Let me know what you need. "

" unfortunatley this disease inhibits your libido (sex drive)and causes Erectile Disfunction.I'm sure this is very hard on you but from a mans point of view it's the worst thing that could happen to you. your husband no doubt feels a deep sense of guilt and low self esteem even though it's not his fault. This doesn't mean that he doesn't love you. some drugs like viagra do work, this will give you sexual gratification but he wont get it even with pills. I'm going through this myself my Wife loves me alot but this is still a major sore point in our marriage. sorry for tha bad news. "

" My husband has gastrinoma a form of carcinoid tumors. I know what you are going through. I have one child and the treatments take a toll on every aspect of your life. Just remember, it is better to have them with us no matter what. Take it one minute at time or if you can one day at a time. "
