Last night I ate some ice cream and felt horribly sick afterwards.
Is there a diet for CS? Are there any foods I should avoid?
I would like to do whatever it would be to help myself.

" I would probably keep away from ice cream or, if you love it, try it with lactaid tablets. I have been told that tomato sauces do not go down well with some people, neither does citrus. I have found that since I eliminated those foods from my diet I get less bloating. Is it possible to ask your physician for a nutrition consult? I have an appointment to see one next week. "

" One of the tests they have done to check to see how active my carcinoid is being is the H5IAA and there is a list of foods that are recommended to avoid: chocolate, tomatoes, eggplants, pineapple, avocadoes, bananas, walnuts, cheese, and a few others. You might try looking up diet for carcinoid in a google search to see what melatonin producing foods there are to avoid. It's helping me to watch these things. "
