" Oh my, it sure is good to get off that dragon, although Ramoths was such a gentle guy and his hot breath kept us warm on those long night flights!

We picked up Sally and Katie along the way, and I am happy to report Jaz and Katie got along famously...even shared their googles! We tied JoAnn's inventive cycle and towed it across the Pacific. We're now packing up all the brownies and should make it just in time for the feast our Cap'n is fixin' us. (Please don't mention stew to the squirrels, though - seems they have had a bad experience with it!)

I, for one, was so glad to hear we won't be having goat meat for dinner....I understand the Capn's need to thin the herd, but I never learned how to baste a goat.

We did sample some brownies this morning for breakfast (to insure freshness, natch), and after our naps will be heading out....! "

" Joni, glad you guys make it. Long trip huh?. I agree, no stew.
The way you baste a goat is you put a saddle on it and run it thru the oil of olay.
Voila, lo and behold we now have a basted goat and all you have to do is hogtie him and put him on the spit.
Good luck with that!..... "

" ok, I gotta tell you one and all. I actually really did have goat steak the other day. My sons future in-laws have a farm and they raise primarily goats. They make all sorts of things like soap, and they sell the milk and the meat. I did not think I would like eating goat, but it was very good.

We all had so much fun on the ride on Ramoths back. we sang songs, and told each other funny stories. We even got to know each other a little bit better through the experience.. Now we are better friends for it...Jan and her Ramoth, Joni, and her Jaz, Sally and her Katie, and I and my pepsikins. We roasted a marshmellow or two and even roasted a hot dog on the occassional flame of fire Ramoth would blow out. It gave the meat a strange, but yummy flavor. Yep, you just will never know what its lketo travel by dragon, until you've actually done it. Great times! And we still hae great tmes ahead! "
