I love it! I use 2 puffs twice a day. I used to use Foradil and Pulmocort separately, and even though they are exactly the same meds, they didn't work as well in that form.

Be sure to rinse your mouth after you use it, to avoid thrush.

I have been on symbicort for about a year. It gives me a side effect of swollen ankles and feet, especially the left side. Some days are worse than others for no particular reason.
As far as helping with my breathing, I haven't really noticed a difference, but I suppose there has to be.

I've been on Symbicort for over 2 years...amongst other things. I love it. It definately help with my wheezing and breating. I haven't had any negitive effects or noticed any unpleasantness. I also use Singular, Theophylline, Albuterol, and a neubulizer so it's a big deal to me to have yet another med added and not notice a negitive effect. Give it a chance to work and see how you feel. ok, am on ad-vair but running out of money. disability does not pay much. do not understand but for the first 6 months they are only going to pay me half . will get the full amount in dec.

ad-vair is too high for me and am looking for something cheaper.

doc said Symbicort is less than ad-vair.

a lot of people prefer Symbicort over Advair . Advair has some nasty side effects that symbicurt doesnt .

ok, have not noticed any side effects from using ad-vair. but am also on morphine sulfate, gabapentin, and zanix.

lately have been getting cramps in my toes , only seems to want to happen when i go to bed.

ok, will ask my doc to change me to symbicort and see what happens.

I have been using Symbicort for about two yrs. I have no side effects. But, I don't see a big change in breathing after using it.

The Dr. started me on symbicort two weeks ago and I noticed a big improvement when taken 2 puffs twice a day....when I went down to 1 puff twice a day the relief wasn't as noticeable.....no side effects that I can see.......xoxox katie
