coughing up blood clots

I have been having some issues with acute bronchitis and now I am coughing up what looks like predominately blood, mucous clots.
Is this normal or should I be concerned? I have been to the doctors so much lately I just don't want to go unless it is absolutely necessary. Posted on 07/02/09, 01:07 pm |

Hi Rosey,
I would surely call the doctor and he will most likely want to see you.Don't feel like you are wasting his time. This could be serious or maybe not. It could be just from the strain of coughing but play it safe and have it checked out.I hope you feel better soon now get moving and call the doc. Hugs, Nellie
