I heard through the grape vine of course or what the heck maybe a little birdie told me well the story goes all us copders are headed for Alaska .
And ya Digi will be leading the pack since he is our fearless leader . here ya go all you old timers and youngons its time to get out of the heat were headed to ALaska where Gigi will buy a huge resort so we can stay in style if not best you grab a tent . If anyone is bringing the cows and goats Please don't forget the pooper scoopers . Ive put a lot of thought into this road trip and our new home in Alaska geee I hope Digi can drive a straight line this time . I think it would be a good idea if breatheasy and mamamarge were 2nd and 3rd in command because after all they are riding in the red wagon behind digi making sure all the 02 stays safe .Pearlb can lead us in song North to Alaska . JamznJaz can provide our meals and anything else we need out of her workshop . All the rest of us with Dogs can make up some sled teams I think Sally and Katie can be in charge of those . OK - I've got her.....Joann and I are coming back to camp now. Have the fire roaring and the warm blankets ready. We NEED margaritas, and crab legs and butter ready for us when we got on shore. Joann is fine...she keeps mumbling something like "where are the brownies, where are the brownies.....her O2 levels must be low.

OH what a relief. I thought for shore I was a goner. Destined to aimlessly float further and further out to sea. I was trying to figure out a way to transform into a whale or a dolphin or something. Cus pretty soon I think my iceberg will melt down to nothing. Good thing sister came to save me. I'm all for the margaritas and crab leggs with hot butter. But, I think a Hot toddy may be in order first. I am a tad bit chilled from "being on ice" all this time. See ya Soon!

trip update*
Most of us are in Point Hope, Alaska. Too cold to pay attention! *Mammamarge returned with her Eskimo friend and some little Eskimos * Trenzy and her gaggle of goats (trained at The Ditsy Redhead Dog Sled Training Center) are frozen and stranded somewhere on the tundra. *Mel was airlifted to Fairbanks Hospital for an overdose on brownies. *Breatheasy and Hellosister are still drinking hot toddys. But they ran out of Cocoa a long time ago! (straight whiskey and women don't mix well!) *Pearl fell through the ice into Tractor Lake, and has been bitching about the position of her underwear ever since! *Laurie ran off with an Ice Road Trucker named Bubba! *and me, I'm still fishin! Caught a whole bucket full of frozen fish sticks! Lacie said she'd clean em for me!

Well, I finally found all of you!
I flew up to meet you, but the plane had to make an emergency landing at Point Lay. It has taken a few weeks to repair it. So, in that time, I my 2 minin-poodles ran the summer iditarod. Annie (the princess) stayed in the sled the whole time as she won't let her paws get wet. Sandy, the sled dog, did great! Came in Second! (Of course he always comes in 2nd as he always has to have something to chase!) Meanwhile, I tried working on an ice sculpture to place outside the igloo. Uh..... ice melts above 32...... but it was beautiful! This place (Point Lay) has a lagoon! Now, I have nothing against ice fishing, used to fish myself! But.... the lagoon! But maybe you could take a day trip and come up and relax,wartch the whales swimming in the blue water.... and sipping melted frozen marguritas ( i know - the brownies are all gone!). We can come back to Point Hope in time to leave. So, any takers? Will I see you for a day trip? Otherwise, the plane should be ready in about a week.

I'm all for it Donna! I love whales, frozen mirguritas and Ice Road Truckers! lol lol Shhhhhhhh, don't tell my husband about Bubba. He'll stop painting the bedroom and bathroom and come after me. I've wanted "our space" painted for 5 long years, but you know how it is, the rest of the house has to come first!

In his defense, we did Mom's area first. She has her suite of rooms in the front of the house, we took the back of the house. Then we all meet in the middle to eat!

Oh you silly silly hearts, I am new here but, count me in, always up for some good brownies and adventure.
There is one thing I am curious about, are some of those fine Alaskan bachelors you always here about going to be available to shovel us out so the sled dogs can shuffle us to our weekly outting at the local watering hole ??
