" I had night time leg cramps off and on, and lately they became an every night, many times affair. I have to leap up and get weight on whichever leg is cramping. It can be a foot, an ankle, a calf muscle or even in my thigh. I started taking a potassium tablet (99iu) a few days ago and every night has been miraculously free of cramps, but I don't know if this is a coincidence. I have a hard time believing I am short on potassium since I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Maybe I'll try the soap remedy if the cramps reoccur. Sandi, I hope you feel better. Maybe exercise will help. I hope to figure out what causes these night cramps. Joan "

" sometimes something like gator ade or a packet of emergen C helps. (it has helped me with foot and leg cramps). or good old tonic water ...with quinine in it (it says it on the front, usually). good luck. they're killers, huh?
