Awesome decision Lily! Take advantage of every resource you can find. See if there's a quitter's hotline in your state. I know there's one in WI. Or check with your local hospital. It may take a combination of methods to do the trick. But you CAN do this! And besides helping your breathing, think of the money you'll save. I'm routin' for you! Hugs, Sue

This worked for me after years of trying just about every method you could think of bar putting me in an induced coma... I had found the patches worked a bit but I still smoked (even while I had a patch on. How bad is that?). I finally had success by starting the patches again, using a little bit of willpower for the first week and not smoking at all. It became easier and then my trick was to use the strongest patch for double the time the instructions say, then twice the time for the second patch and then I was OK, fine, all done. Didn't even need the third level. So...Patch1 = 12 weeks, Patch 2 = 4 weeks, Patch 3 = 0 weeks. I haven't had a cig for nearly 3 years.
