" I don't care for Chap Stick. I use Blistex seems creamier to me. All I can say is keep it handy and USE it all the time. That's what I do. "

" I'm not a physician. My pulmonologist told me to rinse my mouth after using any inhalers. Evidently most inhalers have a habit of destroying our natural oral immunity to fungus and bacteria, allowing pathogens to take up resident on our lips and oral cavity more easily.

Hope this helps.
Best wishes, Mike "

" The wife takes spiriva and has taken advair. You can get thrush in your mouth very easily from the drugs. Nystatin cures it fairly quickly but it is a bother. She rinses also but its potent stuff. Good luck and try some hard candies also to keep moist but if you open your mouth and see white spots, its thrush. Best of luck,
Charlie "

" I too take advair, spiriva and albuterol nebs. I've had a dry mouth and lips ever since I started the spiriva several years ago. Its a side affect that's bothersome but I carry a bottle of water and a tube a vaseline lip therapy. Could be worse! "
