I have COPD, I was diagnosed about two years ago after being admitted to hospital with Pneumonia.I have spent some hours trawling the internret to see what treatments are available and how helpful people find them.I came across machines which are used to create activated air.One of the companies producing these machines is "aernergy " in Germany, another is made in the States called " Active Air ".
They claim these treatments to be beneficial to people with COPD and some other ailments. Has anyone out there tried this? Posted on 09/28/09, 01:09 pm |

I wouldn't waste your money. I don't remember the reason why, but I've even heard reports that these machines make breathing worse. I would want the go ahead from a pulmonologist before trying this.

I bought a UV light to put on the furnace. It really helps me breath freer at night. The lights on filter have to be changed once a year.
