I took Gary into the hospital and it's a good thing that I insisted. He has 3 blood clots. 2 on left lung and 1 on right. The doctor told Gary he is lucky that I took him in because it could have been tragic. He is in Intensive Care and I don't know for how long. I will try to post messages when I come home and take care of the cats.

I visited my pulmonary doctor yesterday and he emphysized the fact that I needed to use oxygen -I had lung volume reduction surgery in 2001 so you would think I'd have no problem with oxygen - wrong - I have no problem with using it at home but I'm really uncomfortable (vain I guess) using it outdoors - can anyone out there using oxygen help me feel more comfortable about it.

I am in the Hospice program for emphysema. I was seriously looking for a regular email friend to share about life coming to an end. I am NOT on a pity pot just would like to share advice on how to enjoy everyday of life we have left.
