One of the frustrating things about CADASIL is the lack of medical knowledge around the desease simply because its so rare. However in the UK there are a number of centres that can help and provide families with support and information.

If you live in the UK Professor Hugh Markus at St Georges Hospital London is a leading expert on CADASIL. He runs a monthly CADASIL clinic which includes a genetic councilling service.

You will need to be referred by your GP to see him.

Hope this helps
