My neurologist told me , only to take paracetamol when I have a headache or pain, because Ibuprofen make the blood thick.

I think its a case of suck it and see with medication. My wife takes daily L-argenine 500mg and low dose aspirin. The headaches have become more freqhent recently so we've worked out a 3 level approach until pain goes.
Level 1 Panadol 500mg or Co-codamol 500mg 2 tabs 4 hrly (effervescent works faster) Level 2 Tramadol or dyhydrocodeine tabs (need to be prescribed) Level 3 Pethidine IM ijection plus Stemetil (for nausia) There's some suggestion that beta- blockers can help - propanolol etc check with your doctor. If anyone has any other suggestions please post
