I'm pleased to have found this site, thanks to whoever started it!
I'm a bit of a lonely sufferer and hope to find and chat face to face with any other sufferers or friends or families of CADASIL sufferers....I'll try anything to try and get to grips with it. Wishing you all the very best. Rich Posted on 06/27/08, 04:06 pm |

Hi Rich50
I hope you are well. I have just found this site as trying to find anyone who knows of any charities that are researching this condition. My uncle sadly died at the weekend and was also a sufferer and we are looking at making a donation to the cause. I have watched my mum suffer from Cadasil since my young teens and it has had it's up and downs. She is now 61 and her speach is very limited, so it's usually hand signs/jestures and alot of laughter too. I try and keep her spirts up as ahe can get quite depressed. Bringing in laughter is good! It does wonders for your soul and a great pick me up. Keep well and hopefully speak again!
