Hello,
I am a student at the University of Minnesota studying biomedical engineering. As part of my senior year, I am working with a team on a design project where we are looking to develop a oxygen delivery device to help facilitate quicker healing of burn wounds. As part of the design process we are looking to get some feedback from people who have experienced burn wounds first hand. I would also like to remind you that any information we use will be kept strictly confidential and no personal information will ever be shared. With that in mind if people were interested please respond to the following questions: - What has your treatment been like? - Where any devices or technology used in your treatment? - What did you like/dislike about your treatment/the device? - If you could change anything about your treatment / the device what would you do? Feel free to post any other comments or opinions that you may have. Thank you for all of your help, time, and considerations. We really appreciate it. Take care. Ryan Posted on 09/25/09, 12:09 am |

Hi Ryan,
I think it's terrific that you are trying to collect first hand feedback. Unfortunately, this is not a very active group. I'm not sure if you'll get much of a response. I was too young when I was burned to be able answer your questions. Perhaps you could contact the following group for some assistance: Burns Recovered Support Group, INC. 11710 Administration Dr., Suite 2B St. Louis, MO 63146 phone (314)997-2757 (866)997-BURN or (866)997-2876 fax (314)997-0903 email brsg@sbcglobal.net Best wishes to you in developing the device! Angel
