MY BF IS ALWAYS HOT AND ITCHING WHERE HE HAS THE GRAFTS AT. NOTHING SEEMED TO WORK.

" if you read my profile you will know I am burned on 49% of my body. I have yet to this day found anything to keep my skin hydrated where the scars are, but these skin graft itching and hotness go away with time. You might try hydrocortisone cream, it helps with my itching. "

" to hydrate the skin there is stuff called Elta Cream it is over the counter but you hae to ask for it or order it off live the stuff is amazing on my sons grafts. 88% if his body was grafted and Elta Cream and Erucin Cream has helped him the most. The itching is from the nerves growing back and will faid. "

" cetaphil lotion you get it at WALMART it is great and apply it generosly!!! use alot 3-4 times a day the main thing is to keep moisture on those places so the skin wont stretch. Good luck!!! "

" to stop the iching for new burn scares you need to keep cool find a cream that will only work for you, not e45 i use a cream i have got of my gp called diplobase i think it is spelt it's a water base only cream and it will stop the heat and cool your scares down and stop the iching. also try to take your mind of the scares by doing something you enjoy doing and make sure you have new bedding on ever day or two that can sooth and the cold cotton sheets do help. "
