my daughter is 9 years old she got burned when she was 18 months when it happened she had 2 skin graphs as the first did not work as she got a infection but she has been doing well an till 4 weeks a go when her arm started to get tight and she has been in pain ever since, she is on 2 pain killers 4x aday but she is still in pain. we are awaiting a date for the op but Ijust dont now how much more she or use as a family can take.

I see know one wants to help or may be dont know what to say well they have up here meds and she should have a date for the op on friday so there is some good news

your little has the same problem has myself but mine is in my left leg, i had the op done the straighten it but it did not work (but i'm not saying it will not work for your little one) she is still young and growing burns takes a long time to heal.
i have to take anti spasms and pain killers, the anti spasms are to keep my leg from coming uncontrolable i so wish sometime i didn't have to take them. i hope the op goes well and always take adivce from the docs as the physo's can get things so wrong so watch out for them. all the physo's want to do is get that arm moving asap but let the arm heal first keep it as straight as possible so the skin don't srink again.
