what would you do?

So, I just found out I am preggers (5w2d) again. I had almost 6 years of infertility before getting our DD. I needed PIO shots to sustain this last pregnancy. I know that BF lowers progesterone levels and I am afraid I am going to cause a MC if I continue to BF.

On the other hand, I have had many MC before and I am still early. I would hate to stop BF and a MC to happen anyway and then my DD doesn't get the benefit of my milk.

My DD is almost 8 months. Any advice, support....

" I breastfed through my second pregnancy and had no complications. Breastfeeding mainly affects prolactin and lowers your chance of conception, as far as I know. I don't think you can "cause" miscarriage in any way, unless you were like sky diving. I would continue and hope for the best. I had lot of miscarriages before my first but my second pregnancy was a breeze. I hope it is for you as well. "

" I would BF unless complications arose. I had 2 mc before conceiving my DS. He is 20 months now and could be weaned but I would still BF through a pregnancy. Most pregnancies can handle an older baby nursing. "

" Talk to your OB. Will you need PIO again? That is the first thing I would want to know. I am almost 39 weeks pregnant and nursed until about 28 or 29 weeks. DS was 19mos old. I had absolutely no problems. "
