My son is 8 months old and I have had only one period which was in September and nothing in Oct. My question is are periods sometimes irregular while BFing? I have taken a test and am not pregnant. Has any one else had this happen?

I had my period once only when he was 6 weeks old and nothing since. And I have taken pregnancy tests too even though we needed IVF to get pregnant!
It is so hard when bfing because there are still so many symptoms of being pregnant!

My son's 5 months and I haven't had a period yet. I don't know whether bf can make them irregular but it wouldn't surprise me...
