" i have been on arimedex since last may 07.the hands and feet are
numb, joint pain and tiredness but im getting used to it .

after researching femara and seeing the side effects were worse for some--
i thought thats not for me-i choose this drug because of its effectiveness in all trials against tamoxifen
ive been in remission of stage two after chemo and bilat mastect
for a year too.
i have 2 friends who couldnt tolerate the aromatase inhibitor drugs
any more and stopped them..
sadly both have had reoccurence in a year of quitting arimedex.
im sure until theres any other drug less dangerous, this one i will
tolerate it.no matter what comes.i heard the side effects wil get better
after a year, and for me they did compared to the first 8 mos on it,
were really harder,im doing better on it, and yes i pray it saves my life. "
