Thought I beat this garbage six years ago. Hah! Was I wrong!

I am Stage IV and am participating in the clinical trials for Abraxane with Avastin. Anyone else out there with this combination to chat with?

" Hello~
I'm also Stage IV and have been on both Avastin and Abraxane, though it was not a clinical trial. Both were easily tolerated although my dr. stopped the Avastin due to a bleeding fissure. I was on the Abraxane a year ago, and am back on a weekly regimen of it. I've had very few side effects and have felt well.

" lesliemiller - hi - can you tell me if you have had a major side effects of the abraxane - hair loss, etc. Been on alot of chemo and was wondering what this one is all about. Thanks

" Like EvansMom I thought I had it beat, but found out three weeks ago I'm stage IV. I start on Abraxane and Avastin in two day, along with Zometa. Glad to read it is tolerable and it has done some good. "
