chemo close to home

Has anyone had trouble getting chemo about an hour from home? I am trying to decide between 2 doctors- one close by (small facility) and one an hour away (larger specializing in breast care). Any thoughts what would be best?
How long does it take o get chemo?

" My oncologist wanted that I had my chemo at home, it was better for me, I did not want to use a pump,it was the same nurse that came on a friday, had slow drip dense chemo, the next friday I would get the booster.
I had metratrexate, 5 FU and Cytoxan. "

" I forgot to add , the cancer center were I work, the oncologists make orders for patients to have chemo close to their home, we have many from other cities,States and countries. The orders would be done by your oncologist.
Only patients that are in Clinical Trials or high dosage chemo they have to get treatment here.
I was not treated in my center, wanted to keep separated my professional and personal life.
I had a second opinion there under a false name, it is common we get many VIP. "
