My mom has just been diagnosis with Breast Cancer. We don't know any more then that. I want to dye my hair pink. but I feel like she might not like that. So should I dye my hair or pink highlights?

I realize I would half to bleach it first and then dye it pink. It also might get fried but its just hair. I've already lost my hair due to Chemo 5 years ago.

My next hair appointment is on the 18th of May so there is still time to decide. I'm leaning towards dying it. I really want to do something drastic!

" You can get clip in hair extensions in every color of the rainbow and they aren't expensive. They should carry them at your local beauty supply or you can order them online. I wouldn't recommend dying your hair because it's such a hassle to maintain. "

" Are you getting sponsored to do this? If not would it be a good idea? That way you are raising money for cancer research at the same time as supporting your mum. You could make a justgiving site and it may be possible to post the link on here (I would check with the site owners first though).

18th May? Do you mean May 2013 as you posted 24th June so May this year is finished? "
