I would NOT recommend this provider. My mother has stage 4 breast cancer and is receiving chemotherapy for the third time in almost 5 years. The first two times she purchased her wigs from Nick George's and they shaved her head for her both times. However, this past November, while undergoing treatment for the third time, she noticed she was once again losing her hair. She happened to find a beautiful wig at "Images" boutique at MGH in Boston, so she bought it there. When she called Nick George's to have her head shaved (more locally) rather than bear the loss of it piece by piece, they told her that it was against their policy to shave her head since she didn't buy her wig from them this time. "Store policy," the woman told her. My mother hung up, stunned, and then called back because she wasn't sure she heard them correctly. Upon calling back, the woman confirmed that they could not shave her head for her during this traumatic time because she did not buy her third wig from them--even though my mother had already given them business in the past by purchasing 2 wigs previously! My mother even offered to pay for the shaving, but the woman said no. How cold, inhumane, and ridiculous could this salon be? For obvious reasons, I would NOT recommend Nick George's to ANYONE. My mother does not have the time or strength to post negative comments about this salon's cruel policy, but I do. Refusing to shave a cancer patient's head because she didn't buy her last wig from them? Give me a break. Please pass the word along.

" Sounds like a ridiculous, inhumane policy. I would not give them any business were I nearby. Hugs and strength to you and your mom. "
