So how many of you moms scrapbook? I got into it about 5 years ago. It my absolute favorite past-time.
I haven't been able to do it since my stbx and I got separated. I look at the pics of my kids, seeing the smiles on their faces, knowing how much they hurt now. Sadly, I'm falling behind . . . Anyway, think I might bring myself to pick it back up. Posted on 09/29/07, 11:09 am |

I scrapbook also started a few years back haven't done much for 2 years can't bring myself to do it alot of pics of stbx and myself with kids maybe one day still hurts too much now

Somebody along the way in here suggested instead of looking at old pictures. Takes lots of new ones! Good excuse to get outside and have some fun with the camera and the kids.

I don't (totally not motivated to do much of anything right now) but my kids do. They have great albums that their grandma helped them with. They spend hours working on them.

One way to scrapbook, and do all Sorts of really great stuff cheaply, is with Broderbunds Creating Keepsakes

Do it if it is something you love, just do it with recent photos. I use to but really cannot bring myself to look at 30 plus years of happy photos. I barely recognize that it is us. All of it is shoved in a closet and that is where it will have to stay.

I bought the stuff to do it just not found time to do it or not motivated yet. I am planning on making my daughter one this year is her senior year in high school.

Well I'm not a mum but I scrapbook and love it. Sometimes it's hard to get motivated when I'm feeling sad but it makes me happy to see what i've done. They always look so nice and I love photos. So far I've only been able to use photos that have been taken after this all happened because they don't remind me of him
