wow, unbelievable isnt it?

I have a question, how do you know about all this? Is there a public data base one can look people up?

First of all, I have a nosy mother...I love her dearly but she drives me crazy most of the time since I'm not really nosy at all. Next we do have a public database for looking up court dockets within the state. You cannot see the charges on it just the court date. You can tell it's criminal because it has an icon next to it. I had heard the shoplifting thing last week but blew it off as misinformation due to the drug charge. After my mom told me that it was true, I just looked it up based on the county it happened in.

And I would not be so interested if it didn't directly affect my children. I have been fighting (successfully I might add if that tell you anything about her character) to keep her away from my kids for 3 years. She has already lost custody of her two oldest children. She's has the mind of a teenager on drugs and as I have teenagers, I am sure they have enough bad influences from school friends already.

oh, trust me I have no value judgments on you keeping yourself informed. I was asking for my own selfish reasons. There are a few pages in my book I've been putting off completing until I know some information is factual and not just hearsay.

if I was in your situation with children involved I dare say I'd be doing what youre doing too.

Good luck...it's no fun dealing with this nonsense. LOL. But you do what you can to protect your kids. :)

Must be some shoplifting if it's a felony.

Anyway, maybe she'll be spending some time in jail....that'll keep her away from your kids.

And hey, maybe it'll give your ex some time to find a new (and perhaps not so bad) girlfriend.

Oh well, we can hope anyway....

I am guessing that this lovely individual is the X's excellent choice of his current company? Sounds like a winner to me! I feel very bad for their child and am glad that social services is involved. I am glad he is out of your life. I hope she is absolutely NEVER allowed to be around your kids. The Karma train is a very good thing!

She's only been around my kids one time about 2 years ago and that was against the court order. I'm looking for them to be protected from her until they are adults. My x actually chose her over the kids and sees them RARELY (last January and probably violated the CO then too but it was iffy as he brought her to son's basketball game but they never went near her). She's psycho...seriously. The only person that I've heard that is similar is solongbye's ex's choice. She's given drugs to teenagers and has no qualms about drugging people without their knowledge. She's thrown food on my car and most of her family is either in trouble with the law or already in jail. Her dad is in a federal prison. Her mom is hooked on painkillers the last I heard. Her brother...he was in federal prison, got out, and then attempted to rob a local factory and tried to burn it down to hide the evidence. He's out now but I've heard that he's going back. Her sisters (she has 2) do not have custody of their children and are in and out of trouble for drugs, theft, and shoplifting. I do know that she (the drug addict) didn't have a chance in the world but she's not ruining my kids because I feel sorry for her and her family. She's been with my x for over 3 years...he had an affair with her and was planning to set her up in an apartment and stay married to me but I kicked his rear end out when I got suspicious that something was going on. She moved in with him one week after I kicked him out and was pregnant before the divorce was even final. :-) I'm 100% healed but just waiting for the judge to decide division of assets. My only concern at this point is my kids. :) And I will do what I need to do to protect them.

Do what you need to do to protect your kids. One needs only to read Solong's tragic tale about her youngest having to spend weekends with the homeless, wandering crackhead, and you realize you need to do anything to protect your kids.
