the single most important trait you look for in a SO or a friend? I have always had a list of 4, but am not sure how I would choose the MOST important if I had to.

Honest
Trustworthy Non judgemental Good sense of humour Able to have a good conversation Stays around through good times and bad

It would have to be trust. As for the intelligence that is over rated. Because if I know something you dont does that make you stupid. As for the sex addict thing. If we are not living together there is a good chance every time we do see each other we are having sex.

Trust. Hands down. No contest. Any relationship that does not have that isn't really a relationship at all and who the hell would be so insecure in themselves to want that? Just my opinion.

Balance. Nothing is too extreme in their life.
By far that's the single most important thing for a SO relationship. Followed by: kindness (empathy to all) honest sense of humor If you asked my friends. They would probably put intellegence up there too.
