I woke up this morning (which is my WORST time of day) and for the first time in 19 days since the breakup I didn’t cry. I also didn’t cry on my car ride to work.

This should be a good thing….RIGHT???

So, why am I sad that I didn’t cry this morning??

This makes no sense….

" Hahaha you miss hurting?

That's a good thing. Wave it goodbye for today, and hopefully tomorrow. "

" Angie, maybe not crying this morning makes you sad because it's a sign that you are starting to let go?

" Yea, it's like I am starting to let go. And it makes me sad.

Seems so bittersweet. "

" I still prefer the constant dull ache with sporadic crying outbursts I have now, rather than how I was the first two weeks after it happened.

I don’t want to go back to that place again. EVER. "

" Glad your getting to a better place Angie - you deserve it. Crying was likely a very good cathartic exercise at first, that may be part of what your sad about - that loss of that release (though clearly its a good sign that you are getting to the stage where you don't need it). I haven't cried yet but I probably will - just to get the release. "

" Sometimes i feel like i am addicted to crying too. it makes is real. this is real. when i stop crying, he is that much further form my heart. i am mourning and terrified of that moment too, as much as i logically want and NEED to get there. I want to WANT to stop crying.
