I kept mine. We'd been married almost ten years.

I tried to give them back to him--as a sign of disgust--but he said no... that he'd bought them for the woman he loved. That p*ssed me off, since he hadn't bothered to talk to me about how he felt he was changing, and he'd had at least one affair, and etc etc... so him talking about how he'd bought it etc was just yet more bullsh*t.

They're sitting in my chest of drawers with some of my other jewellery. One day I might sell them, but I think I'll probably hang on to them as a memento--or as a reminder of what to steer clear of next time around...

Well input my wedding ring away and still wear the engagement ring.

I really like it and even thou my marriage is over it did bring me two amazing kids. So I wear it regardless of what others think.

Gave mine to my son to have remade for his finance.

still wearing mine and don't know when or if I will ever be able to take it off.

I am, however, getting ready to sell the ones from my first marriage.

I had a jeweler reset it. I f you want to sell your rings, go to different jewelers for quotes.

My ex asked for them back, but I paid for them, and there was no way I was giving them back.

Now that I got it reset, my boyfriend likes me wearing it knowing it means I'm commited to him.

I pawned it. It was my daughter's birthday, and I wanted her to have a decent one.

I still have all 3 of mine.

I wasn't married... but I had a promise ring that I wore for almost 8 years. I thought about giving it back to him...but it remains put away in a box out of site because I cannot stand the thought of getting rid or it, nor do I want to see it.

Personally, I think the ring only has as much sentimental value as you put in to it. I took mine from my first marriage off and put it away. I didn't want to sell it, nor did I want to wear it. If you asked me where I put the thing, I wouldn't be able to tell you. Over time, it just became less important.

Mine is with my wedding dress hideing . in hopes that one day i will win my husband back.
