I've known him for 4 years but we were only official for the past 3 months.
Even though we were talking living together, and spending almost every day together. I work night shifts occasionally- and I was very cranky yesterday. The kind of relationship we have, i always tell him if ever somethings on my mind. I told him something was on my mind - which is competely over reacted to. Last night at 6pm he just emailed me a "Fine lets move on" kind of E-mail, and his phones have been off ever since, its like hes cut me out of his life completely. I was going to go to his place but i just couldnt bring myself to do that kind of thing, i am not going to do that. I am just heartbroken, I desperatey need to be ok for my shift on Sunday, i dont know how i will be.Please give me some advice, im heartbroken, i cannot explain how happy i was with this man, i cannot beleive he is just throwing it all away for a cranky email i sent, i just cant.im in agony. x Posted on 10/30/09, 08:10 am |

Welcome to DS. I'm sorry for your pain. We know that drill all too well and it is so sad to see someone going through this hurt. Here are the links that a fellow DS member, PGamble, put together. We all care. It's time roll up your sleeves and start taking those necessary steps before we MARCH MARCH MARCH. Do your part and we will walk beside you and you should seek counseling in addition to your daily strength. Godspeed.

Sometimes one incident is not the deal breaker, it's just the last incident.
Talk to him and try and get an explanation as to why he wants to end it. There could be more to his thinking than just one cranky email. People shut their phones off to cool off. It's a new day. Just try and talk to him. HUGS to you.

Better to test the relationship early.
This is an opportunity to observe the skills you each bring to the relationship to deal with adversity. Overcoming adversity is a critical success factor in relationships. Godspeed.

Talk to him - communication - explain how you were feeling when you sent the email. Sounds like this may not be the first time that this has happened?
