A good book with practical exercises for healing-coping with separation, and help to deal with it and move on. Helped me to find inner strenght to stand up on my own. Particularly useful to those finding a pattern across relationships. I find this book helps to look within and into your own issues. I had to look back to break the cycle and move ahead. Other books that just look into the future were less useful to me. No skipping, had to dig deeper.

" This book is one I wish I had at the beginning so if you are just beginning your breakup, you'll get through it with less trauma. It's an amazing book and even though I'm reading it almost a year after the separation, I can see why I have succeeded in moving with my life when many haven't been able to and they get lost in the emotions of "what if". This is one of the best books I've ever read. I would highly recommend it! "

" This book has really helped me alot. I really don't like self-help books, but this one really hits home. I thought I was crazy with the emotions I was feeling. But it explains the emotions, and gives you ways to deal with them. Great great book! "

" Great tools to learn to be ALONE and happy. To take matters in your life and creating emotional independence.

I have given it to friends in different stages after divorce and they all like it a lot. Some many yrs after the fact. Make the exercises, they do great things for you.

I think it is a must read for all coming out of bad relationships. It was amazing to learn how childhood abandonment issues (parents div, neglect, abuse, drinking, etc) that you percieve to have completely overcome, show up later in life in relationships. Causes one to be off center without ever knowing, and attract others much the same. THe tools help to reconnect with the inner child, so all you need is yourself without the struggle to be alone, instead enjoying the solitude and allowing just good things around you, starting from perceiving yourself as such, complete. It is not something like a concept I had to swallow, but exercises that are easy to follow and do great things. High five. "
