head bones move?

Hi, i'm curious if anyone else feels head injury in the cranial bones either the plates of the skull or internal structures as I do. I actually get relief by pressing on areas of my skull and some areas are somewhat hyper-mobile. My research and experience found that cranial bones do move, some research reports that they actually move slightly with aspiration.

I have been amazingly improved by a procedure that release locked up areas of the skull, which also can resets and relieve the entire spine. I mean my treatments have been miraculous not only in relieving pain, but also in providing major cognitive improvements in a very measureable way.

I just wonder if anyone else has issues or knowledge of this kind of peculiarity.

" Mine move a little sometimes the bumps change. I think they get sore but it's never a big change. "

" Hey, I don't know if mine have moved or what but I do know this; I hear clicking in my right ear when I strain to lift something heavy or push a stuck door.

When my brain parts start moving Harvey, you'll be the second to know! Really, I haven't noticed any movement, but I'm glad you have had relief through a procedure. Whats the name of it?? hugs & peace, kim "

" See, for 12 years they treated me for neck pain, for the head issues were more like intense pressure. Pushing on one area, bulging in my skull gave me a slight twinge of relief for just seconds, and so I found myself pushing there many times a day. When I asked my reg. doctor - he skoffed. Thats actually what led me to the cure of NeuroCranial Restructuring.. feeling that it was more important then he realized, i began searching google for "head pressure" and that turned out to be the key. Now that the locked-up part of my skull that caused so much pain is fixed, the neck pain mostly went away. Things seem to move more easily like hypermobility. It's actually great compared to where i wasd, but now i use pens, phones, corners of rooms and whatever is at hand to push things back where theyre' supposed to be. weird. I hope more NCR's will settle the remaining stuff down. "

" I have two spots on my head that are extremely sensitive and cause pain if they are manipulated in anyway- but I sometimes wonder if they need that to get better?

The spot on my left lower head - behind my left ear where my ear damage is, lets me know it's there everyday and defintely feels like something is blocked. This is where all the pressure in my head stems from. I sometimes rub this spot a little just to see if it will eventually feel better, but then I get freaked out because it always feel worse, so I stay away. I'm hoping my upcoming neurology consult will shed some light on what's happening back there.

The other spot is dead center on the top of my head. Don't even like to think about how it feels - and try to forget it's even there. "

" The similarities y'all speak of are amazing. I had the same clues before NCR, and I would guess that's a sign to at least consider that procedure. The head pressure symptoms especially was the debilitating pain I had that was removed by 4 days (actually on the 3rd day) of NCR treatment way back in 10/06. I think my remaining hyper-mobility is just what's left. "

" you are speaking of Cranial Sacral Therapy. Most massage therapists know this technique. "

" Ok, now I'm really confused - but what else is new?! LOL!

hmyers - I had Cranial Sacral Therapy for 6 weeks. It took me 3 months to find a therapist who had this experience and was covered by WC. I went once a week and it was very difficult. Everytime I left, I didn't feel well. I felt like I was on a fishing boat. My dizziness was worse. Only one time I felt ok. They stopped treatment because she said my head is not ready for this type of therapy. Although her touch was extremely light, what was happening in my head was not.

Is Cranial Sacral Therapy the same as NCR? "

" Dr Howell, who developed it was trying to go beyond the reach of cranial-sacral, as he describes it on his web site. I'm no doctor but the best I can describe and how I expienced it was like ... the balloons into the sinus, quickly applied strike the spenoid bone which is like 'mother natures release lever', releasing locked up areas and allowing your skull to move towards symmetry, right to left. Probably over-simplified.

To me it felt like they put my head back on my neck the way it was supposed to be, or at least much closer. It corrected a misalignment no doctor ever saw! Cranial Sacral applies pressure to bones that can be reached with the hand, including through the mouth, and I'm not discounting the practice one bit. I had a little cranial sacral to augment my first NCR. I would guess the results you get from 4 days of NCR would take a lot longer with CS - again depending on the case.. everybody is so different. All that said I don't KNOW much of anything except how it seemed to me. I believe the way I was locked up, solid, it would have been hard for Cranial Sacral to get to it. "

" I have a 'crater' on the side of my head and it feels like things move around it. The 'crater' feels like mush and hurts, A LOT. It makes my me sick to my stomach when parts of my head move and click. It has been 2 1/2 yrs and still have major pain at this site. "

" I've had my MTBI since February of this year. The recovery has been slow and the symptoms varied. Lately, for about the last month, I experience clicking in the bones at the back of my head. It's not painful, but it's loud and feels and sounds creepy. It seems to be increasing. Don't know if it's related to my MTBI or not, but I would really like to know. "
