" Although I don't know any doctors in that area, changes like that are certainly a sign something has changed. Have you spoken to her regular doctor and expressed your concerns? I would hope that he/she would notice the changes as well, but perhaps your Mom hasn't been to a doctor recently. There is always the ER as well, they have the equipment to check to find out what is going on, or at the very least they can tell you where to take her to get the help she needs.

God bless you both! "

" I'm no doctor, but it sounds like something else has happened within her brain. Like '08Sorty said you can always do the ER. One other way you can check to see if there is someone who specializes in brain aneurysms or injurys is through www.neuroskills.com/brain injury.shtml . It may be able to tell you a doctor that specializes in the area of the brain your are wanting to know about. Hope this helps! God Bless!! "

" Don't know if this will help but here are two questions with answers from the following site.
29) If I have a brain aneurysm, am I likely to have another?
15% of patients with a brain aneurysm are discovered to have a second, or even third. This is why the diagnostic catheter angiogram involves studying all of the arterial supply to the brain.

30) Once my brain aneurysm is repaired, will I develop another one?
It is felt that aneurysms take several decades to develop. Therefore, if no aneurysms are found at the time of your diagnostic catheter angiogram, it will likely be many years before you're at risk for developing another. A surveillance brain MRA every 5 years is probably a reasonable way to screen for new aneurysms in patients who have undergone repair.

I would also say you probably should get her to an ER as soon as possible. Sorry I don't really know how to make the list a hyperlink. Hope it helps and your mother is in our prayers, Kat "
