It's really wierd, but I get pain at the back of my head and my tongue gets numb or tinglly (feels weird). Anybody that can relate. I can't figure it out.........Could it be from the brain injury? I think it must be. Help me understand it....................

On the discussions page you responded to someone with pain in the neck, etc, with advice to see the doctor. If this is an ongoing problem have you discussed this with yours?
The numb/tingly tongue seems an unusual symptom from all I've read. Whenever something different happens to me, I try to backtrack to see if I've done, taken, eaten anything different. I hope you find out soon and that it is nothing serious.

Is this sudden? If it just came on, I'd put itt up on this discussion board as you did, look for any information and, as a last resort, go see my doctor (I hate going to any doctor). I've never had that particular symptom, I too hope it's not serious or painful. Let us know what it is when you find out. Stay well and stay sane!!! kim
Wait - I'll email Kaz, if it has to do with head pain, he's experienced it.

nsm,
I get pain in the back of the head and in various spots on my head. One of the things that happens to me when I am about to be hit with a doozy is the ringing in my ears gets louder or I feel a rush of cold on me. The cold feeling can happen when it is hot outside and it is so intense that my nipples turn hard. My APRN says that my neurological system is off kilter. You might want to give your body a "little" lee way because of the injury. You would know more medically then most of us. If you are still concerned about it, talk with your doctor.
