Hello everyone;
I have been a member here for a couple of weeks. One of my deficiencies is that I forget EVERYTHING! This site (the name of it, how to get her, my username, my password) are all things I will most likely forget - so - if anyone has posted anything to me - and I have not answered, I apologize! Also - I bet I will forget all about this by tomorrow!

" Since having learned of my brain tumor, I can even forget the names of people I have known for many, many years. Back in 2005 before the tumor was found, I was completing my Bachelor's degree. I would read the chapter assignment and not remember a thing I read. Often reading up to three times the entire chapter b4 eough sunk through to achieve a c. I am a A student. That's when I knew something was not right. However, I did not learn of the tumor until December of 2007. Actually thought I was just dealing with brain fog from fibromyalgia as this was diagnosed in 2005. So . . . I know abut forgetting. Just go with the flow. I forget what someone said to me yesterday. I forget what I am supposed to do at work after being off for two days It is realy frustrating, but bearable.

" I can so relate! My family makes fun of me, especially when I have to make specific notes on my parking garage ticket so I can find my car. It was funny at first, but now its getting a bit humiliating. My long term memory is o.k. but, like you, I have to write down EVERYTHING including what my login is to get to this site, oh, and what is this site called? I used to think it went with aging but now realize it is due to all the radiation I had. "

" OMG!!!

I have all of these symptoms, and have been told by doctors that it's due to mental disorders.

My naturopath had a neurotranmitter test done, that showed my Cortisol levels were off the charts, and I should be seen by a doc. immediately. I didn't because my whole family ignored it, but my symptoms are getting worse!!!

I can't seem to remember a darn thing!!! Wow, I sure know how you feel. Now, how do I get an MD to take me seriously. I don't have insurance, which makes it difficult, and need to get on disablity or Medi-Cal.

Any suggestions? "
