i need help! I had an MRI done cause of TMJ on the left side of the face and my jaw felt as if it was misaligned. The MRI came back that i have at least 2 areas of round hyperintensities. I saw the images and they are completely round, like marbles. The one i can actually feel on the left side of my face, the other i cant. I have been suffering with headaches and a feeling of pressure in my head and jaw pain on both sides for sometime. I am very worried over this. I am going for a CT scan with contrast on Monday. Has anyone here had this? what could it be? heather

Hi Heather, I was told that I had a tumor in my left temporal. The temporal area was causing seizures. It ended up being a benign tumor. The tumor grew very slowly. That's what tells you that it is benign. Has it been awhile for this to be coming on? Even if it came fast, don't worry. It could maybe be just an infection of some kind. I really shouldn't be saying all of this but it sounds like something that you should not worry about. Please let me know what they say. My name is Jan and I do hope to hear from you soon. : )
