hey Mona,
I am a recovering addict myself. I have a different philosophy, with what we have the pain is extraordinary, You need to ultimately make the decision that is right for you. Have someone else hold onto the pills for you and disperse them as needed. Make sure your docs know that you are an addict and ask them for alternative meds. hang in there. Cindy

Mona...
I am not a recovering addict, but suffer from many different ailments. Try alternitive approaches. Lie down in a dark, quiet room. Light lavender or peppermint candles. A cool, wet cloth soaked in peppermint oils may work as well. You may try to focus on the pain as a bright point of light. Imagine it is getting smaller and moving away from your body. I know it sounds crazy, but it just may work. It's worked for me sometimes!
