Bone Marrow Transplant Support Group

Does anyone here have aplastic anemia ? My 19 year nephew has had this since he was 5 years old.Now he is 19 and had some kind of horse serman cemo (spelling) about two years ago . His platlets have stayed up there like normal until this week. They were at 40,000 and he was very upset about it.Before he had cemo they were around 20,000 each week.He has never been on the bone marrow transplant because the doctor does not see any need any that at this point.Not sure what they are going to do now.I like to here from others on this.One thing is this guy is a strong believer and nothing gets him down.
