Hi, My daughter will be 23, Dec 10th, 2009. She has a 4 year old daughter, and new baby girl, 3 months old..
She was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma at the age of 6. It was located in her right femur bone..The surgeon took out her femur replacing it with a cadaver bone (young adult bone) made her leg a knee cap longer to compensate for growth as she grew older. She also had 12 rounds of chemo..(was a very sick little girl) with a great attitude and huge smile. I only met maybe 5 families in my travels who have had ewings sarcoma..

I had Ewings Sarcoma. It was in my lymph node, instead of in my bones. There was only one tumor and it didn't spread because we caught it in time. I was diagnosed when I was 14. I had surgery to have the lymph node removed. Then, I had 15 rounds of chemo that I had to be hospitalized for and six weeks of radiation. I was very sick and still am pretty sick from the aftereffects. I stopped growing, so I look 12. Please know that, although you saw them experiencing it, you really have no idea how Hellish it is go through that. I hope you two are more understanding and accepting and supporting than my family. And don't be angry at your sister if she can't heal quickly. I'm three years off treatment and still have no muscles and am very sick.

My bf has Ewings sarcoma. he was diagnosed in 2008 and they got rid of it with tons of chemo and radiation but its back now except a lot worse. he has it in his skull and spine as well as probably everywhere else. your not alone in this thats for sure

Hi, i had Ewing's Sarcoma at the age of 6 it was located behind my left ear on my skull. i under went surgery, 48weeks of chemo, and 6weeks of radiation. I've been in remission for around 12yrs. i'm here if you need to talk to someone. i know what its like to go through it as well as have family members go through it. *HUGS* hoping and praying all is well.

hi im kate and i had ewings sarcoma to and i diagnosed at age 12 and now im 15 and im have been in remission in for 21 months now and i know ur sister will be fine there is nothing to woring about because if you get a good doctor then she will be fine i promise

My brother was just diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. He is almost 46 years old. We are very uneducated in this disease & there is very little information on it for adults with it. Not knowing makes it harder to cope.
