Everywhere I have typed in "bone tumor support" leads me to cancer support, so forgive me for being here if I am not welcome. I have recurring giant cell tumors in my maxillary sinus. So far they have been begnign. This newest one is on the opposite side of my face and is just 5 years after my last surgery. My life is much different now, I am married and I have a son who is nearly 9 months. I no longer have access to the fantastic doctor I had before because I am in a different state. The ENT I saw here was so startled it seemed by seeing such a rare bone tumor in a rare place she did not know what to do. So now I am just waiting for ths doctor to call with the name of another doctor that can handle this then finally get the biopsy done and wait again, then schedule surgery and wait again. Meanwhile my face hurts a ton and its scaring me, scaring my husband; we were not together when I had surgery 5 years ago. So I am just reaching out to anyone who also has dealt with bone tumors. If this is the wrong place- heck please tell me where to go, because the internet searches sure don't know.

" All I can say is WOW...."SUPPORT"?? IN this PLACE? HA! I guess if I were terminal I would be getting responses...never mind the fact that I am going through diagnosis phase right now with doctors, going back and forth daily to MD Anderson....this place is a JOKE....and filled with hypocrites. "

" I can really feel for what you are going through. My suggestion is to keep as busy as you can to take your mind off your fears, and try to do meditation if you can. It can really work to calm you down, and I do it myself when I need to. Stop thinking worse scenario and try to just take one day at a time. I offer my prayers to you, and I am here whenever you need me. Just send me a message........ "

" Hi,

I know you posted this a while ago now.. but i also suffer with non cancerous tumours that keep coming back!!! I agree that there is not much support for people who have non malignant bone tumours or much information on line! They thought I had Aneursym bone cysts but after my last operation they think i have more than just those as it has changed... questioning if abcs are the secondary tumours!! I have had 3 major operations in the last 9 years due to bone tumours!!! And I've now been told its not if its when they come back again!
I do understand how scary it is and not knowing what is happening!!! "
