since metastic cancer is stage IV cancer can radiation and chemo really put it in remission? My hisband is sick from the radiation and I am worried he will not be able to get thru chemo and will just be sick and then die anyway. what are the statistics on surving metastic spine and metastic liver cancer that started in the colon? the doctors are all so sweet, but I need to know what to prepare for.he had surgery for colon cancer in 2006 and has an ostomy bag, but they thought all the cancer was gone until he complained his back hurt starting this past march. We are very frightened. We have been married 43 years.
