Just my socks..my daughter wil "help" me with a plain shirt.
Ik have tags with braille for my shirts and such, those suckers help a lot. I do have been know to wair a shirt with staines from dinner and not knowing.

I think a very easy way to mart you close right side would be a small safety pin . I can see and I have been known to put things on inside out and on backward. underware feels real weird when it is on backward. Heck. I see so many weird fads with clothes . I am surprised that it is not the latest fad to wear your clothes inside out . I think we should start that fad.
I know I used to love a shirt that looked like it had paint splashed on it . tTat was the print. but I liked it because i could spill or dribble food on it and no body noticed.
Talking a bout that new fads in clothing.we have acid washed torn and ragged hems so why not pre stained clothing. I am the world worst at getting staing on my clothes I could start a whole new line and maybe make millions.

I thought that was the new style. :) I wear my shirts inside out alot or backwards. My daily trainer suggested putting safety pins in my shirts to find the right colors which would also help with the inside out thing.

As for stains that is an every day occurance even before I started loosing my sight. lol

they sell braille tags wich will help with colors and such. I ware mostly black, and no prints hahaha so I do just have THE stain problem.

Dirt loves me! I can be standing in the kitchen and it comes flying at me....sneaks around corners and finds me.

I usually don't have trouble with wearing things inside out, but I did do something that totally embarrassed me a couple weeks back. I went to class wearing a new shirt and din't realize that the size tag was still on the front of the shirt. So, now my entire class knows what size I wear. Oh well, it happens.

I have done that several times and NO One, and I mean No one in my family told me until I got back home..lol..Such a loving family. Now I ask them if I have them on right.

Let's just hope that your family will tell you the truth about tags after not saying nothing before hahaha

Just a funny about my left brain husband. May he rest in peace.
Now he was a very picky, control freak and organized type person.
(by the way he was not blind) He ask me one day to go to Wall Mart and buy colored clothes hangers. I ask why? he said so he can put his yellow shirt on a yellow hanger and his blue shirt on a blue hanger and so on. I ask why ??? He said. "So I will know what color the shirt is ' DUH
I said you are as crazy as a loon if you think I am going to take you shirts to the cleaners and and come home take them off and hanger and and put them on colored hangers so you can tell what color the shirt is by the color of the hanger . Just look at the dang shirt silly . He never got those colored hangers.

Hey Mamob - I used to do that with hangers. I thought that was perfectly normal (smile). I've got my compulsion completely under control now. Now I:

Only use bright plastic (cannot see well anymore);
All same color hangers must hang together if empty;
All similar type clothes must hang in closet together, divided by color, divided by owner.

Oh.

That is not normal either?
