I have pretty bad cataract in both eyes, I have have one out and now preparing to have the second out. My vision is better but not as good as i had expected. so hoping the second one will make all the difference for me. I will always need to use the over the counter readers,

Any words of wisdom for me or advise.

" Some people still need glasses even after cataract surgery. I actually never had glasses until I had surgery. Don't be alarmed if it is not as good as you expect, it is fairly common. "

" O. T. C. are good for most but depending on the results you have after your surgery. I would also use caution when doing you day to day activities. At least until you get use to your new vision level. Also a very good thing to do as well. Contact your local & state blind & visually impaired assoc. They may be able to help you as well. It may be called something different where you live.
