blood clots in left eye have caused blindness.The doctors say it will get better or worse.uhg..NOT getting better.very scary

4 many yrs I lived with the possibility of total blindness. Now that it has happened i have found that it is much easier 2 live with that what i spent so much time being afraid of

Lucy, I like your response. I've hung on to what vision I have left and had trouble accepting the impending blindness but what I realized later rather than sooner is that once you accept it, it gets easier. I'm a motivational speaker now for women in trades and my mentor is a speaker and she is blind. Some days it sucks, considering I used to drive a car and do a lot of stuff that I can't do now, but I'm keeping a good attitude. For me the challenge is making money. With money, I can make life easier. I live alone and if I can afford to pay for a social life then I'm emotionally better. I still have the same ambition I always had in spite of my blindness.
