Self Confidence Boosters

Hello Everyone,
I have been blind for six years due to opticatrophy. My optic nerves are pale, instead of being pink. Since I lost my eyesight, I have faced many challenges in terms of school, peers, society, etc. All of these challenges have taken a toll on my self confidence. I have graduated from college with a double major and a 3.4 gpa. Now I am in my second year of graduate school. As a part of my graduate education, I am completing an internship. After trial and error of trying to figure out how I was going to accomplish the work tasks, I am now working independently. With this in mind, I am really nervous and scared. As I am taking on new tasks, I begin to doubt myself and worry about letting others down. My supervisor says that I am doing a good job, but now it is up to me to realize it myself. She said that I need to have confidence in myself becauseif I don't it will come across to the clients. In addition, my family has been a great support system and they always offer me positive feedback. However, they are my family and they might be a little biased in the situation. So, here's my question, does anyone have any tips for me on how to gain more confidence in myself and actually believe what I am saying?

" Review what you've accomplished up to now - college, GPA, etc and give yourself that much needed pat on the back. You've done great so far!

My favorite poem has a much needed line for you:

If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be
greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Attitude is very important your handicap is only as bad as you attitude.
I failed at many things but also succeeded at a great many more.
Failure is not the end of the world. It can be a stepping stone to greatness.
If you do not reach one goal just reach for another one.
It can be you played your best and did everyting right but still loose the game it all depends on what the other players do.
We can not win at every thing but should try and try again and if we still do not win . We can try someting else.
You did not stop trying to walk or talk as a baby So be a baby again and keep trying.

" as far as clients go, you will lose some and win some. My husband was a great sales man and won many big awards for giant amounts of sales. he won over many clients but not all of them. he might looses sone small ones but win over 10 very big ones. if you believe in your product and sell it honestly and be straight forward and clear with your clients you will win a lot more that you lose. My husband sold many products but behind the products he sold , he also sold srevice good service quality service, keeping his clients wants in mind. "
